Yesterday I asked if media would give Voice to Jacinta Price’s community. Guardian Australia have done that. The Central Land Council - 90 elected members - have said Price’s comments denying ongoing impacts of colonisation are hurtful and insulting. Will this be widely reported?

I support your comments Neil. We are a backwater, sad, ignorant, introverted, international embarrassment. To Aboriginal people, I am very sorry that this happened. Please let’s keep working together to achieve the change that’s needed.

The price of Huggies diapers went up 6% between April- June. Inflation, right? Wrong. Kimberly-Clark, the maker of Huggies, reported that the cost to make its products *fell* by $75 million. They took the money and ran, banking $168 million in operating profits in Q3 2023.

It is extremely problematic to hear the NSW Police Commissioner describe the killing of Jesse Baird & Luke Davies as ‘a crime of passion’. By all accounts the killer’s alleged actions are the hallmarks of control, jealousy & power. Not love or passion. amp.9news.com.au/article/ec649f…

Jane Hume on Sussan Ley’s dog whistling tweet. says “the only people who have been talking about that tweet are either journalists or Labor staffers” If you are not a journalist, and not a Labor staffer, R/T to let Jane Hume know she got it wrong (again).
