Cricket season has finally started! ☀️🏏 The Year 9s took on St Clement Danes in the County Plate. After a good bowling display unfortunately we fell short with the bat! Lots of positives despite the loss! POTM Alex B for figures of 3-10 off his 4 overs! 🏏

Year 7 County Plate Final vs Chancellors Unfortunately it just didn’t click for us on the day losing 4-1. That should not take away from the superb season these boys have had. We are very proud of them and looking forward to what next year holds! POTM - Will. R ⚽️

Year 8’s progressed to the next round of the County Plate with a good win against Veralum School - Potm Ollie C with a vital 21 runs!🏏 In other cricketing news, the year 10’s unfortunately lost against Freeman College - Potm Tom with impressive figures of 4-21!🏏

Year 7s progress to the next round of the County Plate with a good 10 wicket win vs Knights Templar. All 10 bowlers did a superb job to restrict them to a low total which allowed Edward B and Henry C to chase the total down without loss. POTM - Edward B

7 Debutants in the Year 7 Cricket Team! ⭐️ Well done to all the boys who managed to secure a 4 wicket win vs JFK this afternoon! Some highlights - Sam As opening spell, Gethin O batting (20*) and Alex T with a 6 to win the match. A match played in great spirit from both teams🏏

Well done to Leon A, who has been training hard with the Olympic Development Road and Track Squad at the Manchester Velodrome. In Cyclocross he was selected to represent Great Britain at the Dublin World Cup at the beginning of December and finished inside the Top 20!

This afternoon we had 16 year 7 Basketballers compete in an inter school fixture where the Lakers beat the Spurs in a very competitive fixture. Lakers MVP - Shai C Spurs MVP - Jack S Well done to everyone, especially considering it was your first Basketball fixture!
