LC Wrestling, first place all academic! Not only do we handle our business on the mat, but in the classroom as well. Our School, our Athletics Department, Athletes and Coaches have worked so hard for this level of achievement.

Update on the Nielsen Clan in Estonia!

Gwennie Update: Gwennie wins in the consol round of 16 against Arkansas. Was winning 5-0 before she pinned the girl in the last 5 seconds of the match. She has the winner of Nevada or Florida. If she wins her next two, she will be going for as high as 3rd and as low as 8th.

Gwennie Update: Gwennie ends up wrestling Florida, unfortunately she did not come out on the winning side and ends her tournament 1-2.

Mike Update: Lost to a tough New Jersey kid 22-10, drops down to the consolation blood round. Next opponent is from North Carolina, a win here puts him in the running for 3rd but at least 8th.

Mike Update: Unfortunately Mike drops a close match 4-2 to North Carolina and ends his tournament.

Twins Greta and Nora finish 2nd and 3rd respectively at the Tallin Open! The Tallin Open is one of the biggest in the world! 2400 - Number of wrestlers 32 - Number of countries represented 14 - Number of tournament mats

LCSS will be closed for Spring Break for students Friday, March 31-Friday, April 7 with students and staff returning on Monday, April 10th. Tomorrow (Thursday, 3/30) is an early-release day with students released from all schools at 11:30 AM. Enjoy your spring break, TR1BE!

Coach Lyon’s PE weight lifting class was recently awarded a state grant for some new bumper plates and equipment. These students enjoyed using the new equipment!
