Browsing social media for hours to escape life’s problems is a false refuge. We must turn to Jesus.

Your job is your mission field. The Bible says, "Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people" (Col. 3:23).

So many Christians live lukewarm lives because they don’t attend church in person. They miss the nourishment of sermons. They miss the joys of corporate worship. They miss discipleship, fellowship, and accountability. Go. To. Church. In. Person.

Christian, be quick to forgive. A person’s sin against you is a dust-speck compared to your infinite debt that Christ has already paid.

I would urge caution for Christians who choose to go door-to-door with their children on Halloween: - Don't let your children dress immodestly. - Don't let them dress in evil costumes. - Make sure they understand that Halloween is a dark day. - Let them hand out gospel tracts.

Too many believers treat prayer like a 911 call when the Bible treats prayer more like breathing.

The path to Heaven is narrow. If your life looks identical to the world's, you should question the reality of your faith.

Believer, when a trial hits, don't ask, "Why me?" Ask, "How can God use this suffering to make me hate my sin and love Jesus more?" Don't waste your suffering. God certainly never does.

Colossians 2:16 says, "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath." Unless a Christian is literally sacrificing to idols or worshipping demons on Halloween, do not pass judgment on them.

If you constantly feed your mind with the world’s entertainment, you will eventually think and be like the world. Guard your eyes, ears, and mind, saints.

My biggest encouragement to Christians, regardless of your stance on Halloween, is to use this unprecedented opportunity to shine a light for Christ. It's the one day a year people will come to your door looking for you to give them something. Give them candy and gospel tracts!

A genuine believer strives to repent quickly. They don't linger in their sin or try to justify it. A key mark of a Christian is a heart that hates its own sin.

A holy life is great evangelism, but it can never substitute preaching the gospel with our words. People can be gradually led toward Jesus with our lives, but they can’t be saved until they hear the gospel.

Saints, our money is not our own. We are stewards. Use your finances in ways that glorify God. - Support your family. - Buy fun things, but in moderation. - Give offerings to your church. - Help the poor. - Go on vacation occasionally. - Fund the spreading of the gospel.

Holiness is not a suggestion. It is a command. We were saved from sin's penalty so we could be freed from its power. Fight for holiness today, Christians.

Before you click “post” on social media, ask yourself: Is this true? Is this helpful? Is this loving? If not, delete it. Control your digital tongue.

Christians, I know Halloween has dark origins and elements, but you can turn the tables on the enemy by giving gospel tracts & candy to those who come to your door. Don't turn off your house's lights this Halloween; shine a light for Jesus on this dark day by sharing the gospel!

If your theology doesn’t change how you treat the grocery store clerk, something is missing.

There is absolutely nothing wrong about a godly woman standing up and preaching biblical truth in a non-church setting. The prohibition in Scripture is against women pastoring and having authority over men in church, not against women preaching the Word in any public setting.

Kill sin by confession. Don't hide your failures in the dark. Bring them to the light through the power of the gospel and watch Christ crush sin's power in your life.
