1) There's a growing effort to deny Taiwan’s colonial history by redefining Han migration as “internal expansion.” But this is Han exceptionalism in disguise. Let’s unpack why Taiwan is a settler colony—historically, structurally, and politically.

Believe it or not, the usual suspects are trying to sell the little blip at the end of the Antarctic ice loss curve (due to a few strong snowfall events in East Antarctica) as proof that "global warming is a hoax". It just shows once again that "climate skeptics" just fool you.

The Telegraph The Telegraph I resent your wording — “alternative medicine” did not kill my sister because there is no such thing as “alternative medicine”. There is medicine, which is science-based, and then there is pseudoscience. No grey areas.

Zero sympathy for this population having to have its paperwork in order. All of us foreigners face such requirements. PRC spouses are a privileged caste with de facto dual citizenship, thanks to the sweetheart deal with the PRC. Whereas foreigners like me can never do that.
