@BHCC_Transport Why no action, this vdhicle is clearly parked adjacent to a bus stop? You could pass this to Sussex Police who have several opportunities to prosecute this vehicle driver.
This could lead to widespread parking in this area of Kings Road if no action is taken.

Streets Brighton & Hove @BHCC_Transport Sussex Police In fact, I'm pretty sure this area is actually *private land* under the control of Brighton & Hove City Council team. If so the driver is trespassing *and* breaking bylaws. So why the reluctance to even acknowledge you could take action? Cllr Trevor Muten Chloë Goldsmith

Mark Strong Streets Brighton & Hove @BHCC_Transport Sussex Police Brighton & Hove City Council Chloë Goldsmith Brighton Active Travel Thanks for raising this Mark Strong - I raised this at last month's Parking & Traffic Regulations Outside London [PATROL] meeting specifically asking for Secretary of State to change the law to empower B&H enforcement teams to issue Penalty Charge Notice for pavement parking

Mark Strong Streets Brighton & Hove @BHCC_Transport Sussex Police Brighton & Hove City Council Chloë Goldsmith Brighton Active Travel I consider this a priority that has been a problem in our city for far too long. We need a law change to enforce the change we require. I will personally persist as has been discussed for many years without action or resolution. Enough talk. Now time for change.
