Chairing a session at the PacRim Ceramic & Glass Technology show. Looking forward to visiting Vancouver (first time in Canada) this week and meeting with some of the world's smartest ceramists.

We had 3 separate orders from MIT today. There is a reason a lot of additive technology comes out of there & is located around Boston.

Some notes on Negotiations 1/ When you finish any complex deal you will feel fatigued and worn out. It sometimes feels hard to celebrate. The best deals feel this way. Complex negotiations require compromises. When both (or all) parties make concessions nobody feels great.

I’m trying to wrap my head around using Ebitda instead of profitable. Do these teams have a lot of interest, depreciation, and amortization expenses? I love that the Crushers run a team like they are going to be audited by Deloitte.

Was out in Maryland today for a meeting to continue developing ceramic tooling for Nuclear salt lab applications. This has nothing to do with that but is still one of the most impressive prints I’ve seen. #StainlessSteel #UVPrinting

Part we printed for Mars rover's sample heater. A pocket-kiln that blasts Martian soil to ~1 000 °C, releasing H₂O, CO₂ & fragile organics straight into onboard spectrometers. It’s the rover’s “nose,” turning dusty grains into a chemical diary of Mars. 🔥🪨🔬 #Perseverance

💎 Lithium disilicate isn’t the future of dentistry — it’s the standard. We’re proving it can be 3D printed: stronger than composites, more esthetic than plastics, and at a fraction of milling cost.
