It’s official, trees make you happy & healthy😊🌳 They release chemicals called phytoncides that when breathed in reduce blood pressure, lower anxiety levels, increase pain thresholds & boost levels of anti-cancer proteins It’s called Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing in Japan

Street trees encourage walking 🌳🚶‍♂️ Trees make our streets more inviting. When you stroll down a tree-lined avenue, it feels different—more sheltered, more stimulating. This pleasant environment encourages people to get out and walk or cycle. It’s that simple!

Tynemouth station is amazing; it was designed by NER chief architect William Bell. The station was completed and opened in 1882 and is probably the longest/unbroken platform, concourse, and glazed canopy design of Victorian England.
