Great to catch up with the team at Tree-Plenish, a non-profit that helps high school students host tree planting events in their communities to offset their school’s energy consumption.

This year Tree-Plenish worked with Lincoln High School, North Mason High School, and Foss High School to plant 346 trees in 173 houses in our district with the help of 52 volunteers. Way to go, everyone!

Through our Environmental Equity Fund, we were able to donate 3,629 saplings to 52 schools in low income or urban communities through the donation of $20,200 in 2021! We can’t wait to make an impact through the Environmental Equity Committee again this year!
