Hannah Dahlen AM Dr Michael Magro Donna Ockenden FRSA, Hon DLitt Hon DSci BHRUT NHS 🏥 Independent Maternity Review NUH Trust RD&E Maternity Liverpool Women's University Hospital BHRUT Maternity Thanks for sharing the article Hannah. I'm deeply concerned by the recommendation to widen the use of central monitoring without evidence of whether it works, or not. I think central monitoring makes things worse and as you know have published on this.

Lack of big randomised trials should no longer be viewed as a barrier to waterbirth Jyai Allen Hannah Dahlen AM @KildeaSue Instead, research should focus on how to improve waterbirth practice.  transformingmaternity.org.au/2022/05/there-…

We continue to go against all international evidence for mw led services in Ireland. Women, if you wish to have a homebirth take advice on your human rights in childbirth. #HSE: Why can't we develop the service rather than reducing women's rights in childbirth!! #homebirth
