Gorgeous meeting today with the wonderful people in the Trans Equality Together network - so many people dedicated to equality and fairness across the country doing incredible work - impossible not to feel inspired ❤️

1/4 - On 2nd August 2018, Sylva Tukula, a trans woman from South Africa, died in a direct provision centre in Galway.

Sylva was beloved by her friends at Amach! LGBT Galway, at the centre she lived in, and in the wider LGBT community in Galway.

I really miss Sylva. She was so full of life so much of the time. Ireland didn't give her the level of protection she deserved when alive, and treated her death with an unexcusable lack of dignity that should never be forgotten nor forgiven.

RIP Sylva ♥️♥️
