All lanes are now open on the #M6 in the #WestMidlands southbound between J11 (#Shareshill) and J10 (#Walsall) following a serious collision. Thanks for your patience, have a safe onward journey.

⚠️ Emergency services are currently dealing with a collision on the M5 north just after J6. Two lanes are currently blocked and congestion is beyond J6 at this time. Please allow extra time if heading this way. 📷- National Highways.

Lanes 1 and 2 (of 4) are closed on the #M5 northbound between J6 (#Worcester) and J5 (#Wychbold) due to a collision. There is currently approx. 6.5 miles of congestion on approach, causing delays of 50 minutes above usual journey times.

Lanes 2, 3 and 4 (of 4) are now open on the #M5 northbound between J6 (#Worcester) and J5 (#Wychbold). Lane 1 remains closed for vehicle recovery. Delays have eased slightly, however still 30 minutes above usual journey times.

Recovery complete and all lanes reopened on the #M5 northbound between J6 (#Worcester) and J5 (#Wychbold). There is still approx. 1.5 miles of congestion on approach. Please allow extra time for the remaining residual delays to clear on approach.

#M6 southbound is closed between J11A (#M6 Toll) and J9 #Wednesbury. This is due to a collision/oil spill involving 2 lorries (closing J11A-J10) and planned works (closing J10-J9). WMP Traffic West Midlands Fire Service + an Ambulance are at scene. Updates to follow soon.

📣 #WMRNEW - Police investigating an issue at Lye. 🟠 As a result services between Birmingham Snow Hill & Kidderminster will be impacted. 🎫 Ticket acceptance in place with NX West Midlands for local routes. West Midlands Metro for city travel. 🚌 Road transport has also been ordered.

📣 #WMRNEW - Signal issue at Barnt Green. 🔴 Due to an issue, some lines through Barnt Green are currently blocked, this affects services to Redditch. 🚌 Buses have been ordered to shuttle between Longbridge & Redditch calling at Alvechurch.

2 lanes (of 3) are now closed on the the #M5 northbound between J4 #Bromsgrove and J3 #Halesowen. This is due to a spillage that resulted from a 2 car collision earlier this morning. National Highways contractors are en route.
