I feel like this whole Pen Farthing coverage is an attempt to divert people’s attention away from the fact that Dominic Raab (or anyone in the Foreign Office) never made that vital phone call to help evacuate interpreters.

UK's Ministry of Defence informing all main stream media how one ex-marine & his animals is the reason they left more than 1,000 British nationals behind in Kabul, apparently he used all their resources. And the British press going with it- instead of holding the Govt to account.

1. The twitter pile on of Pen Farthing and dominic dyer is disgraceful. It was never a case of animals before humans. They had own chartered cargo flight last week but were blocked from entering airport and now Afghan staff are blocked by last minute rules changes. Never forget…

He had got them all paperwork that was acceptable to the uk authorities but not the americans. Pen farthing seems to be being held responsible for everything this morning. Twitter can be vile

So much nastiness and misinformation being reported about #PenFarthing and #OperationArk . Hopefully when some of the stress and despair of the tragic events in Kabul are behind us the true story can be told and the record set straight. No one wants people to be left behind.
