Update: Samaya Smith beat University High's Laurel Buttrick 6-1, 6-1 in qf at UIndy (relocated because of rain). Smith has beaten seven postseason opponents by collective 84-6. Semifinal vs. Munster freshman Priyanka Tallamraju at 10 a.m. Saturday, scheduled for Park Tudor.

Update: Warren Central’s Samaya Smith beats Munster freshman Priyanka Tallamraju 6-3 (9-7) in semifinal. Smith (24-0) will play for singles state title at UIndy Tennis Center - sometime around 3-4 pm today.

Samaya Smith will play for the IHSAA Individual Tennis State Championship! She beat an amazing young lady from Munster 6-3, 6-6 (9-6) Her opponent is yet to be determined! Congrats Samaya! Still have work to do!!!
