We've progressed to some heavy singles for our Front Squat last week before our fall break this week. Our athletes did an excellent job pushing to check on their progress on the year so far! The top 3 boys and top 2 girls made the all time top 10 lists for front squat!

The Lady Chargers XC team finished their season with a 20th place team finish in the Regional. Senior Kylee Weathers led the way with a 59th place finish and ran a career PR of 20:19. Congratulations to all our runners on a great season!

Looks like I'm going to be doing some deep dives on VBT after winning a giveaway from Vitruve. Grateful to receive three devices to hopefully incorporate in our athletes programming. In the meantime, I'll be trying them out in my own training.

The “weight room is dangerous for basketball 🏀 players” idea has always made me laugh. Structured sets and reps on rehearsed movements are risky, but 3–5 games and 3–5 practices full of collisions, jumps, and chaotic movement is somehow the safe option?
