Yesterday I had my long lens, no wildlife to be seen. Today, quick walk just a phone, so obviously saw Woodpeckers, Jay, Warbler and these beautiful Buzzards soaring on the thermals...what do you mean you can't see them...? 😂

Hedgehog! Put the camera out last night to check for Fox cubs and saw this beauty. So excited, have never seen a Hedgehog here before. They've either been out of sight of me and the camera or the renewed branch hedge put in at the bottom of the garden has given better access.

I love my little pond in spring. It has been in for 4 yrs and plants are now maturing around it. Some of my faves this spring pictured (Viola Freckles, Water Hawthorn, Fern, Tiarella, Narcissus Thalia). The pond is also full of critters, makes all that initial work worthwhile...
