Farewell to our CEO, Chris French, retiring this summer after a remarkable 36-year career! Chris has been an inspirational leader, dedicated to improving education & ensuring every child succeeds. Thank you, Chris, for your leadership & commitment to making a difference.

Our Y6M class had a great first day on their residential @thornbridgeout and are starting to emerge (smiling) after a slightly soggy night!

The peace and tranquility of the woodland has been truly shattered by our night line activity!

The children have had a brilliant time today on their cycle skills course before putting everything into practice on the Monsal Trail!

It’s been a great evening for our cross country runners, who claimed the top 3 places in the Bamford Junior Fell Run!

It’s Last Day Laser Tag in the sunshine for our Y6s this morning! Big thanks to Adam and Mark for running this great activity!

I am grateful for the warm welcome from everyone @merciatrust during the transition period into my new role as CEO. I wish all our staff a restful break and Chris French a long and happy retirement.
