Check out this new paper in Journal of Applied Ecology
Congrats Agostina Torres tmoranlopez Mariano Rodriguez-Cabal and Martin A. Nuñez
Excellent work!
Inverse priority effects- order and timing of species removal- is an idea that we hope will be widely used for management worldwide!
Take a look at this Amazing paper lead by Agostina Torres

Excited that the final chapter of my PhD thesis is now published in the Journal of Applied Ecology. Shedding light on the importance of historical contingencies during invasive species management with Martin A. Nuñez Mariano Rodriguez-Cabal tmoranlopez
Thrilled that our article is Editor's Choice in Journal of Ecology! Don't miss the post by Maud Bernard-Verdier discussing our research, thank you!

🌿New research shows that competition between #invasive #species drives nonnative #bioticresistance , but the strength of the effect is contingent on seasonal timing of removal

Grinding our teeth with Agostina Torres at seeing this image from a brand of mineral water. It intends to give a feeling of 'nature' by portraying all exotic species at Villavicencio private reserve. Some of them, studied by Agos in Patagonia, are quite invasive actually. 🙈🙈
