Not properly looked through my tweets today but spoken to my team and should be starting chemo in a fortnight. Some frightening procedures before that but going to have to find the courage from somewhere. People think it’s easy but it’s so not!

Day made! Picc line insertion and drain on my birthday. No one can come with me either. I’m so unbelievably fed up and angry

The mask advice really annoys me, public don’t need them (don’t agree) hospital staff need super masks. What about patients? I move round the departments am extremely high risk yet I get no advice!

No internet now. It’s been my bloody lifeline to have something to watch in short episodes and chatting with friends.

Been on the phone for 90 mins today discussing my symptoms and being assessed. Marsden are concerned but can’t drain over weekend. They are happy I’m stable, can phone any time to reassess and they will check on me in morning. Absolutely shattered now!

Barely any sleep, pain in hips sky high, shaky and can barely drag myself around the house. Please just stop

... which is why the procedure needs to be done in interventional radiology by ultrasound. Macmillan are keeping close contact but I can’t get what they can’t give or believe me I wouldn’t wait!! Not as easy as just going in

Pain still bad but so much more comfortable today thank god for Saint Francis Hospice Going in for Picc line and drain tomorrow, both very frightening experiences plus I haven’t got downstairs for 3 days so 🤞🏻 for that. It’s going to be a really hard day for me but.....

Procedures done but kidney issues so staying tonight. Gutted

Unfortunately I am still at hosp and very poorly. My liver and kidneys aren’t doing well and they are trying to help them but currently my body now can’t cope with chemo so we are at a bit of a dead end. Scared, tired and want to go home.
