The kind of thing that we're doing to add value is regular reporting at magistrates court, crown court, and inquests. We're also spending more time on developing stories of interest while asking people who submit press releases and pictures to a new system called Your World.

FT | 3-0 | A terrible afternoon for Shrewsbury. Their hosts did not have to get out of first gear to win 3-0. It could easily have been more. The defending from Shrews was not good at all. Long season ahead. #Salop shropshirestar.com/sport/football…

Wattlesborough Village Show today and my nephew lent a hand with the judging of the longest nettle. He stepped it out and there was a clear winner! A great community event with the lovely cakes as usual!

Some serious rain is falling in the Shrewsbury area, I've read they've had 30mm in the past two hours. Heavy rain will continue for this area in the next hour or so, flash flooding will be a issue.⚠️ Yellow weather warning for rain still in force over #Shropshire.

Exceptional day yesterday over #Shropshire, Shawbury had it's second wettest day on record. The wettest day in 50 years. Some places south of Shawbury had even more rain.🌧️
