My customer wanted a few changes to the commission piece .. sooo, it was easier just to gesso over it and start again .. 😵‍💫😮‍💨 The joys of being a monkey with a brush! Lol

Waiting for my kids to finish up at a concert.. might as well use my time productively and enjoy the peace and quiet before the lonnngg drive home lol

2nd version of a recent commission piece .. and thankfully it’s turning out much better than the 1st one 🙏🏻😮‍💨 Customer is delighted anyway.. and that’s all that counts 🙏🏻👌🏻

It’s a bit chilly and rainy out today.. so I’m back working on my winter theme piece .. 🙏🏻

I think I’ll put the brushes down for today in this 70cm x 90cm acrylic on linen piece .. will get back to it during the week, but I must first sketch out an owl before I leave the studio.. no rest for the wicked 😵‍💫😮‍💨👌🏻

Pretty happy with how this piece turned out.. I think I’m finished with it .. will leave it for a few days and decide if I want to keep going with it or sign & varnish him lol
