There was an 'end of the season' feel to Low Newton this morning. It's wonderful seeing families enjoying the beautiful #Northumberland coastline but I also enjoy this tipping point when sea and sand begin to lose human presence 😀

Recently, we hosted a group of NU Students students who had never visited Northumberland National Park before. The group was organised and led by one of our volunteers, Anette, who is a lecturer at Newcastle University.

Lovely Lindisfarne off the Northumberland coast and one of the many old fishing boats turned upside down and re-purposed (always check the safe causeway crossing times!)...
