Here we go again...

First game of the day against Bordeline from the Wast Coast. Good start for us with the 15-5 win. Will be a good step forward to start 2-0.

It’s gettin’ hot out here (as indicated by our last post). 15-3 over WTF (solid pickup team). Hydrate - Lunch - then NSOM

Big win over our Montreal counterparts - 15-3 against NSOM Ultimate, and a 15-2 win in the Quarter vs. Critical Mass (Boston). Rematch with Borderline tomorrow in the Semis. 8am is going to hurt.

So much to say - and only a handful of characters to use. Tombstone wins the Cup and secures the right to select the 2020 Team Canada Open GrandMasters squad with a universe point win over an incredibly cohesive and talented Quantum team from Quebec City.

I can’t say enough about the 27 men that worked all season long each week to try and get better - despite the saying “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks”. Sometimes it’s about the destination (which we are still travelling towards) but this weekend was one hell of a journey.

Thank you to all the guys and especially their families for letting us pursue this goal. There’s still a lot of work to be done as it’s been some time since Canada has won Ultimate Gold at an international tournament - but I know a group of dudes who can make it happen.

Following the competition at The Montreal Grandmasters event this past weekend, we are excited to announce that Tombstone (ON) has earned the opportunity to form the GM Men selection committee for the 2020 World Masters Ultimate Championship. Read more: canadianultimate.com/en_ca/p/grandm…
