It was great to welcome Andy Burnham to Sale Moor yesterday & wonderful to see the village thriving. Thank you to Liz Patel, Olly Baskerville & Jo Bennett for introducing Andy to several of the business owners.
It finally stopped raining & so we headed to Manor Ward this evening to join our fab Trafford Labour candidate Keleigh Glenton on the campaign trail (this is how she chose to spend her wedding anniversary!) 🗳️🌹
Always a pleasure to return to Sale Moor & it was great to meet Becky from ‘Fantastic-No Plastic’. A local, independent zero-waste store & great example of doing things differently in our GM Green City. Andy Burnham & I were really impressed ♻️💚

Spent part of the day getting my Trafford Labour leaflet rounds to our fab team of volunteers for delivery. Steve and I then did some leafleting in between the showers! 🗳️🌹
