Blue Watch and our on-call colleagues from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station and Hayle Emergency Services Community Station attended a shed fire this morning. Crews using 2 hose reels and a main jet, extinguished the fire before it spread to the owner’s house.
Last night Blue Watch with crews from Falmouth Community Fire Station, Hayle Emergency Services Community Station, Helston Community Fire Station, Truro Community Fire Station, St Dennis Community Fire Station and St Just CFRS attended a large gorse fire. On arrival crews were faced with a 400m fire front, using hose reels and beaters the fire was extinguished by the early hours.

Last night crews were called to a residential fire in the area of Polzeath, appliances from across the county attended and are still coming and going for reliefs. A long night for the crews and some rest is well deserved. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service
