Blue Watch welcomed our newest edition to the Watch today, FF Becky Edwards. As well as having 3 shouts before 11am, we managed to train with the equipment on the Rescue Tender this morning.

Blue Watch and our on-call colleagues from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station and Hayle Emergency Services Community Station attended a shed fire this morning. Crews using 2 hose reels and a main jet, extinguished the fire before it spread to the owner’s house.

Yesterday White Watch then later Blue Watch, with an On-Call crew from Tolvaddon, attended a severe building fire in Redruth. At it’s height 11 pumps and 5 specialist appliances from around the county were involved at this incident.

This evening Blue Watch welcomed GWR and the team from the Night Riviera on station. The Watch created scenarios for a team building session and discussed fire safety onboard trains. Thankyou GWR for a really enjoyable evening.
