New paper alert!!📢 Excited to share our recent paper now published online in npj Journals 2D Mater. Appl.! It is a joint experimental (our group) & theoretical (Dr.Soumya Ghosh group) venture where the authors discuss metallization in 2D TMDs. Congrats!🥳 doi.org/10.1038/s41699…

Thrilled to announce our recent acceptance 'Vanadium Doped Magnetic MoS2 Monolayers of Improved Electrical Conductivity as Spin-Orbit Torque Layer' is now available online in Advanced Portfolio News Wiley Adv. Fun. Mater. IIT Mandi TIFR Hyderabad Krishna Rani Sahoo doi.org/10.1002/adfm.2…

Exciting news! Fresh paper online! 📢🥳 Our new study shows that O2 fuels for Zn-air battery passivates the Zn anode reducing battery performance. Click to read the full work in Cell Reports Physical Science- doi.org/10.1016/j.xcrp…… Big congratulations Subhra and others!👏 TIFR Hyderabad

Congratulations to Amogh K Ravi (graduate student. Pabitra Kumar Nayak's lab TIFR Hyderabad) on receiving the Best Poster Award at the 'Advanced Materials for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (AMEES 2025)' international conference held at IIT Bhubaneswar (May 16-18, 2025).

It was a pleasure to host Prof. T. N. Narayanan @tnnlab from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research at CSIR-CLRI Thank you, TNN, for the truly insightful talk on the critical role of interfaces in diverse systems. Grateful to Prof. P. Thanikaivelan for organizing and hosting this enriching session!

Congratulations to Amar Kumar (graduate student, Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab) on successfully defending his thesis titled ‘On the Development of Novel Cathodes for Next Generation Batteries: Solar to Organic Batteries’. Read more about his work here.
