I am a researcher, as well as a mentor. A healthy & pleasant atmosphere in the lab is always my top-most priority. We have frequent lab dinners/lunches, as a part of success or farewell parties, & during festivals. Sharing here some recent such rememberable moments. Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab
Honored by the visit of Prof. M R Anantharaman, former professor Cochin University(CUSAT), & presently at MG University, Kerala to our lab. He is also the PhD guide of our PI, Prof. T N Narayanan Narayanan Tharangattu Narayanan. That is three generations in one frame!🤩
Researchers from Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab TIFR Hyderabad report a simple, scalable, cost-effective method to assemble a safer and durable lithium metal battery. Media mentions in Telangana Today, The New Indian Express, AZoM, Innovation News Network, @techxplore_com eurekalert.org/news-releases/…
Delighted to present my recent work regarding electrocatalytic HER using ultra low loaded non zero state Pt-hBN catalyst at 37th topical meeting of International society of electrochemistry hosted at Stresa, Italy. #ISE #electrochemistry #37th_topical_meeting Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab
Happy to see our lab's graduate student, Rayantan Sadhukhan, presenting his work at the International Society of Electrochemistry meeting. Good job Rayantan Sadhukhan🇮🇳 !! Way to go!👏😃
Fresh paper off the press! 📢 Our recent work reports the tunability of valley polarization of Transition Metal Dichalcogenide(TMD) monolayers by selective doping. Good work DIPAK MAITY Narayanan Tharangattu Narayanan 👏 Now available to read in Physical Review Materials doi.org/10.1103/PhysRe…
Congratulations to Dipak Maity on receiving the Dr. K. V. Rao Scientific Society Award (Research Award in Physics, Silver Medal). Following Shubhadeep Pal (2016-17) and Pallavi Thakur (2020-21), Dipak becomes the third grad student from Materials & Interface Engineering @ TNN's Lab to receive this commendation.
Happy to share with all another interesting work from our lab on doping of monolayer MoS2 towards metal like 2D materials, one of the first works in the area. The work is now published in American Physical Society Physical Review Materials journals.aps.org/prmaterials/pd… Awesome work DIPAK MAITY & others!👏🥳
