“America First” does not square with Scripture. Jesus said the last shall be first and the first shall be last. If you want to be great you must become a servant, etc. Primacy can be an American aspiration, but it’s not a Christian one. #ChristianNationalismIsBad

When the Church has the most earthly power it is weak. (i.e. the Dark Ages) When the Church has the least earthly power it is strong. (i.e. 1st Century) Why do the people of God find political power so alluring? What does it profit us to gain the world but lose our soul?
