YAS! I had the privilege of being able to sit in a few dailies when I helped out on this film for a couple weeks at Tippett Studio. As a 3D animator it was super cool listening and learning how stopmo is done! I loved being a fly on the wall, it was amazing!
Written and directed by Visual Effects legend Jim Danforth, Time Gate was a late 1970s stop-motion project about game hunters traveling back in time to hunt dinosaurs. Phil Tippett built a number of creatures for the film though sadly, the film was never completed…
