Fascinating blog! This a was a slightly unusual one for Friends of the Nations' Libraries (FNL), but not the first time we’ve funded a seal acquisition. This has impeccable provenance, is ‘adjacent to the process of producing archives’ & a wonderful personal item for the collection.
Fantastic #YAC meeting today at the Ure with Dr. Edward A. S. Ross (he/him) on #AI! We learned about the possibilities & the pitfalls of AI for generating images & the high environmental impact of the technology. The group created AI ancient towns using prompts - with some hilarious results!🚽
