I've just been outside and saw...a bee! Happy #WorldBeeDay Must be fate as since launching 5 years ago, the National Park's Beelines initiative has created well over 60ha of wildflower habitat for pollinators. This is just one strand of our #ReNature and what buzz!

As our Green Finance Summit gets underway today, we’re delighted to be the first National Park to announce a formal scheme for voluntary biodiversity gain for businesses of all sizes. We must all pull together, pioneer and innovate to find solutions. shorturl.at/qhjIf

Wonderful news that eight dew ponds have been restored in the National Park, thanks to South Downs Trust. These ponds are vital for nature and also part of our cultural heritage. Great to see them with a new lease of life. shorturl.at/QzF6k #naturerecovery #NationalPark

Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day. We honour the brave soldiers and the South Downs communities who supported them. Their resilience and unity were vital and we must never forget. 📷 Hannah Temple #DDay80 #DDay #SouthDowns

Raising a glass to #EnglishWineWeek Our 2021 study highlighted the huge wine-growing potential in the South Downs and the need to balance growth and jobs with conservation of the landscape. Here's to all the producers doing exactly that.

We're very proud to stock a range of locally produced #EnglishWine in the Seven Sisters Country Park visitor centre If visiting, why not pick up a bottle and raise a glass to the landscape and our award winning producers? #EnglishWineWeek

Can't agree more Rose and it is a good mix of detail and storytelling. A valuable guide to our history and apt given the Scottish and Welsh approaches to new National Parks.

A united approach across the UK, to be welcomed and signposting the way for all in and visiting National Parks to play our part where possible in climate action.

Nothing better than young people being able to get out and explore nature in National Parks. They are the future custodians. We've a series of Youth Action Days over the summer holidays and early autumn - do check them out and book yourself a place! shorturl.at/p3dSJ
