Seeing the #Covid_19 trend from other countries, it seems that elective procedures willl eventually be cancelled & resouces better utilized where pts will “most” need it. Lets not wait for a pt or staff member to get sick before acting on it Keeping staff safe = better for pts

Hot off the Press: Study shows that up to 50% of #COVID19 patients may present with GI symptoms including #anorexia and #diarrhea. And these patients had a worse clinical course. Let’s make sure our colleagues and the CDC recognize this new information #NotJustCough

My general stance is that losing groups of staff (MDs, nurses, techs etc), can happen v. quickly and is devastating clinically (think of how many patients any given staff member can care for in a week)- so N95s probably the way to go across the board. #GIjournalclub
