We hosted a thoroughly enjoyed summer picnic on Friday. Chatting about science and life and everything inbetween over drinks and food in the sunshine. What more could you want. We are already looking forward to the next social. Please get in touch if you'd like to get involved.

Top tip for responding to reviewers’ comments: put any changes you have made to the text directly in your rebuttal (including figures). Make it as easy as possible for the reviewers, so there’s no need for them to open the manuscript file again.

Twitter used to be the best place to discover new and exciting science. To have a paper distilled into a few key tweets by the author, and to interact with them. Now it’s dead. Nothing is seen and the discourse has gone. A big shame. Find me on LinkedIn under the same name. ✌🏻
