The boat tax reduction bill that passed House Ways & Means today will negatively affect ALL SC taxpayers as local governments will lose revenue & have to shift the tax burden to others. #H3858

H. 3858 is not broad tax reform but a targeted special interest tax break that hurts more people than it helps. #H3858

Revenue loss to county governments because of H. 3858 will have to be made up on the backs of renters, car owners and small business owners. If you don’t own a boat, you lose under this plan. #H3858
