Calling all 10th-12th grade students in Athens!!! We would love to have you apply for a seat on this year's Mayor's Youth Council. It is a great way to engage with peers about public affairs and be a voice for what is needed in our wonderful community.

We're all concerned about the shooting nearby at Apalachee High School. We should send thoughts & prayers but also OUR COMMITMENT TO DEVELOP POLICY SO THAT THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. I support the right to own a gun but that right doesn't surpass THE RIGHT OF A CHILD TO STAY ALIVE
