We are warming up through the weekend. Unfortunately the lower humidity and fall air does not look likely anymore for next week. We will stay a bit humid with rain chances building next week while we keep an eye toward the tropics to our south.

It's raining on the tailgates up in Boone right now, but showers should clear for game time at App State Football tonight.

There's a good chance of a new tropical system forming in the Gulf of Mexico next week. Steering winds are weak though, so we don't know where the system would go when it forms. All on the Gulf Coast should stay informed as we get closer and can narrow down a path.
