If you think expanding the mental health sector is the way to remedy growing societial suffering, you've drunk the cool aid. The expansion of that sector (its ideology & interventions) only worsens the problem. The solution is the right kind of social, economic & political change

A nurse who worked with #MECFS patients commented on my Facebook post calling it a mental health issue. She dismissed the CDC, NICE & the IOM report because it didn’t match her and her colleagues’ views. Outdated beliefs override evidence.

Adam It's horrifying to think of the harm she must have caused & to be gloating in her wilful ignorance when pwME have suffered so much is shocking.

Hey Paul--and as I presented at your invite to your research group, we've known since 2011 that PACE is crap because outcome thresholds were lowered so dramatically after data collection that they ended BELOW entry criteria for disability. This is fraudulent.
