We need to hear from as many carers as possible to help shape our future policy and campaigning work. Please take our survey and tell us what needs to be done: surveymonkey.com/r/QNHMV93?utm_…

Watch till the end. Listen to the outrage, despair, and yes, fear, in Mandy Patinkin's voice. That is the sound of a person with a conscious. All our voices should sound like this.

carersuk.org/polic.../state…... Please make sure any family/unpaid carers you know have the opportunity to fill in this survey. The biggest carers' survey in the world and critical to influencing government policy.

Today the House of Lords will debate the Universal Credit Bill. We are concerned by the changes to Universal Credit and we’ll continue to work with disability organisations to challenge the changes the Government is making. You can watch the debate here: parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/86…

Day 3: Dunbarton Castle to Duntocher. Only 8 miles today. Toes saved by wearing sandals (but not great in the puddles). justgiving.com/page/tim-anfil…

justgiving.com/page/tim-anfil… Day 5 (last day): 13 miles (making 70 miles and smashing the 60 needed to celebrate Carers UK's birthday. Not too knackered. One big blister on left foot but manageable. Time for a glass of something fizzy. Please give generously if you can

Meanwhile in London the Metropolitan Police has arrested and carried off a disabled 'Charlie Chaplin' from a mobility scooter for showing a picture of Guernica with the colours of Palestine next to a sign with the words "Free Palestine". True story.

If you think expanding the mental health sector is the way to remedy growing societial suffering, you've drunk the cool aid. The expansion of that sector (its ideology & interventions) only worsens the problem. The solution is the right kind of social, economic & political change

A nurse who worked with #MECFS patients commented on my Facebook post calling it a mental health issue. She dismissed the CDC, NICE & the IOM report because it didn’t match her and her colleagues’ views. Outdated beliefs override evidence.

Adam It's horrifying to think of the harm she must have caused & to be gloating in her wilful ignorance when pwME have suffered so much is shocking.

Hey Paul--and as I presented at your invite to your research group, we've known since 2011 that PACE is crap because outcome thresholds were lowered so dramatically after data collection that they ended BELOW entry criteria for disability. This is fraudulent.
