" I want the ornery praise / of a good-as-gone Camel's fizzle, bowed in my good glass ashtray." Incredible ekphrastic poem in response to Carrie Mae Weems! Congrats Stephanie Burt (Taylor's Version) 🥥✨ ✨!

I often misspell fabulous with the rapper "F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S," because I am an elder millennial who listened to "Young’n (Holla Back)" ad nauseam in high school. I hear that version in my mind with that dang "O" mucking it up EACH TIME I try to spell it haha.

Loved having the chance to dive deep with poet Kenzie Allen (Kenzie Allen 🌵) on her exquisite first collection. Kenzie's view is long, wise, and true. 'Cloud Missives' is a special book. Thanks to Kenzie, The Rumpus, & Tin House!
