The band were honoured to support the Remembrance Sunday service at The Paddocks on Canvey Island again this morning.

The Band have been preparing for the last few weeks for the Lbba Open Contest in Loughborough tomorrow, where we will be up against 7 other bands to try to be crowned champions. We’ll look forward to seeing our friends at East of England Coop Band too.

3rd place for us yesterday at LBBA Open Contest. A very pleasing performance of the epic and fiendishly difficult Partita by Phillip Sparke. Our congratulations to winners Sandhurst Silver and runners up Longridge Band who both also tackled some major works on the day. 👏🏻👏🏻

We enjoyed a great concert at Regent Hall in London last night. Our 4 soloists were superb and another blockbuster performance of High Peak that was equally well received as on Sunday (well, by the audience anyway! 😆)

We are on our way to sunny Blackpool for the British Open Spring Festival. We have to return the Senior Trophy we won last year and will try to make our mark in the Senior Cup!

The band had a great weekend in Blackpool and were pleased with our 5th place finish in the Senior Cup. Our congratulations to Amersham Band for winning and to @WantageWSB Stannington Band & Ashton Brass Band for promotion. All the best in the Grand Shield next year 🤝
