Congratulations newly elected MPs! This week Angela Rayner & others pledged to work with Citizens UK on issues that matter to our communities. We're ready to build on existing relationships like these & foster new ones with all elected officials. Everyday people win change💪💯

It's not just local politicians, people in public life at local levels (particularly women) are being constantly harassed and abused. We need stronger civic leadership and this is a huge barrier. It's why Birmingham Citizens has stopping community trolling & harassment as a priority.










Great to be at Birmingham Newman University for a meeting of diverse local organisations who are concerned about the future Bartley Green Library. We explored our options and everyone left committing to bring more people and local institutions to the table to be part of the solution.

🚨 New research, commissioned by Citizens UK, reveals the number of children in hotels for longer than the 6-week legal limit has increased by 663% in three years, from 490 children to 3,250, with more than 150,000 children now living in #TemporaryAccommodation in England.
