When Beast 1 wants to play and Beast 2 does not

We haven’t talked enough about what an incredible voice Cosmo Jarvis (the star of Shogun) has. He’s like the long-awaited resurrection of John Hurt. Just imagine what he’ll sound like in 20-30 years!

Has anyone written the piece about why A24 doesn’t seem to want their films in the Criterion Collection? Is Uncut Gems the only one? Having so few has to be by design, so what’s the calculus there?
