Lovely to be @stbridelibrary last night to celebrate the digitisation of their pre-1830s type specimens. Some gems shared by @PauloBarnesi including this unique specimen of typefounder Hugh Hughes. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Dear Sainsbury Archive I particularly like this packaging. The prevalence and placement of the lowercase 'o' subliminally suggests the cotton balls. The alignment of the n, l and l creates the angle and fortuitously the corners of the w and b kiss touch. Subtle use of colour.

Crystal Piteโ€™s Light of Passage @RoyalOperaHouse a ballet set to Gรณreckiโ€™s Symphony of sorrowful songs. Powerful, political, and so unutterably beautiful it reduced me to tears. A perfect example of why we need the arts โ€“ all of them.๐Ÿ’ชโค๏ธ๐Ÿฉฐ theguardian.com/stage/2022/octโ€ฆ
