Fantastic July Hub sessions, with presenter Laura Hellfeld giving fantastic input on behaviour that challenges (she suggests reframing as distress behaviour). Members said it was "amazing", "engaging", "lively and very informative". Thanks Laura!

Left my lanyard at home by mistake. The school office said they would let me into the school, but they had to take my phone off me for the day first. If I did it again, I'd be isolated from colleagues & forced to work alone with no help/interactions. Why is this different?

Wonderful Summer Celebration this week for our brilliant Hub members at ZEN Sensory ltd Zen Harrogate. Everyone had a fantastic, relaxing time, including chilling out with the rabbits and guinea pigs!

Our Hub members wanted to hear how they could better support siblings of children with SEND, so Sibs came to present this week. Interesting and informative and gave us some great insights and practical things to try. Thank you Sibs ! October's focus is food and eating!

Excellent Hub sessions this week, with Laura Hellfeld talking about eating and food. SUCH an emotive area for so many parents. Members said the "excellent presentation" was "very informative and useful", "fascinating" and it was "great to hear from someone who is neurodivergent"!

Fantastic Hub presentations this week, all about parenting an adult child with additional needs: great, clear info on the legal aspects from Nicole from LCF Law LCF Law, and powerful personal perspectives from Ella Frances Sanderson and Geneva.

It's the end of 2024! HNY to all of our amazing members, followers, collaborators, speakers, venues and Hub Facilitators (+ anyone else I've forgotten!). Thanks to everyone that has helped our Friends and Family Hub members support their kids in the best possible way in 2024!

Who knew utilities could be genuinely interesting?! Thank you to Northern Powergrid and Yorkshire Water 💧 for coming and presenting to our Friends and Family Hubs this week. Members were really grateful for all the information and for the presenters being so friendly and helpful!

Our February Hub sessions were an opportunity for some of our members to have a pamper session and a couple of hours of much-needed relaxation! Thanks to Maxine and Siobhan, our lovely therapists.

Great Hub sessions this week on sleep, with our presenter Laura. Our members said that she was "extremely knowledgeable" and "absolutely brilliant" and the session gave "so much useful information". Our June session is on Play Therapy - message if you want to become a member!

Another great session this week, on Play Therapy. Natalie ran a really interesting, interactive session that members said gave them "fantastic insight" into how play therapy can help children of all ages. They really valued better understanding how play can benefit young people.
