Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Ethereum’s 10th birthday with us! Builders, friends, and partners from across the ecosystem. Great people, great energy, and even better Burekas. Special thanks to Ethereum Foundation SSV Network Starknet 🐺🐱 Fireblocks for teaming up

One moment where blockchain acquired wisdom ahead of the world (at least at the narrative level): zk rollups being superior over optimistic rollups in terms of security. ie cryptography guarantees >> game theoretical guarantees when it comes to security. The world for years

Ethereum is only as strong as the experience it offers to users. That’s why we are doubling down on interoperability and improving UX ⚡️ Our main focus areas: - A trustless, censorship resistant way to execute multichain transactions. - Standards to unify wallets & apps - Faster

Lots of buzz lately around the Ethereum Interoperability Layer (EIL). Here’s some framing on what it is, and just as important, what it isn’t. It is still early, but we are aligned around the goal: seamless UX across ethereum rollups, while staying true to ethereum's values.

"EIL is not meant to replace those, but to give ethereum’s rollup ecosystem a native, trust-minimized path for interop." Our goal is to make sure that Ethereum's plan to scale using L2s does not mean compromising on censorship resistance, decentralization and security 🛡️

I am excited about this project. A lot will depend on the implementation details which are TBD - but this vision is exactly what Ethereum needs.

The Ethereum Foundation answer to tempo Arc and any other L1 is not twitter rage posting. It's actually making L1-L2 and L2-L2 interop so good that it would be an unbelievable cost to be outside of that ecosystem. It's possible, and hopefully in the horizon

Georgios Konstantopoulos We still do not have full account abstraction. It's not possible to transact from an account without using ECDSA verification unless you go through an intermediary (and intermediary dependency is harmful to privacy and censorship resistance and generally the right to do things
