Angela Rayner has complex living arrangements as a result of her divorce and her son’s disability. She took professional financial advice, advice that a lawyer has now said was wrong. She is taking action to rectify the situation. Rayner should not be hounded out of office.

I don't condone if Angela Rayner did anything wrong but we will find out if she did. I still object to Dido Harding squandering £37 billion of our tax money and Michelle Mone sailing off into the sunset on our tax money. Who is chasing these funds? Beth Rigby? Anything to say?

If only Angela Rayner had followed the Telegraph’s advice. Then they might not call her a hypocrite.

I am saddened at Angela Rayner’s departure from government. She is a towering figure in the labour movement and has done so much to improve the lives of millions of people. She can be rightly proud of her legacy.

I suppose Rayner can now sell her posh flats in Glasgow, her Chelsea mews house and £19m London townhouse, plus her yacht, while she works out how to get the National Crime Agency to unfreeze £75m of her assets. My bad, that's Michelle Mone.
