I am so excited to announce that I’ll be joining Wouter Kool at @WUSTL as the new lab manager for the Control and Decision Making Lab starting this summer! :) I’m so grateful to everyone at Princeton and the PrincetonSocialNeuro for helping me get to where I am now 💞
Come and check out our new posters on opportunistic exploration (Jack Dolgin with Bettina Bustos and Robert Wilson) and on the effect of model-based planning on other effortful tasks (davideghez.bsky.social) at the 2021 Workshop on Mental Effort, starting today! #MentalEffort2021 Mental Effort Workshop
Come and check out our newest posters with work by davideghez.bsky.social, Jack Dolgin, Ata Karagoz, Bettina Bustos, Robert Wilson, Zach Reagh, and Wouter Kool tomorrow from 12-1pm CDT at Poster Session 1 for #psynom21! Psychonomic Society
Excited to announce my 1st first-author preprint on “The construction and use of cognitive maps in model-based control”. This work was supported by the excellent mentorship of Zach Reagh and Wouter Kool psyarxiv.com/ngqwa/ 1/11
Come and check out our posters with work by davideghez.bsky.social, Ata Karagoz, Zach Reagh, and Wouter Kool tomorrow from 4:30-7:30pm during Poster Session 1 at #RLDM2022!!
#CNS2023 First public appearance of the MULTIdimensional task-set interference paradigm from Control and Decision Making Lab. Poster D40. It already speaks and tells you stories about how you deal with distractors in a complex environment, with EEG & RSA. with Wouter Kool & thea zalabak
The Braver CCP Lab WUSTL, Bugg, and Kool Control and Decision Making Lab labs at @WUSTL are looking to hire a postdoctoral researcher for an ONR-funded project on the cognitive neuroscience of attentional control. A detailed ad can be found here: cdmlab.wustl.edu/docs/MURI_post…
Excited to share our preprint “Choosing the right frame: How context preferences facilitate subsequent choice” with Wouter Kool! We develop a novel paradigm to show that people have context preferences and that these preferences affect downstream choices. psyarxiv.com/7p9en/
New preprint! doi.org/10.1101/2023.0… Our environments are complex and ever changing. We report behavioral data and neural network simulations showing that, in multidimensional environments, humans adapt attentional control in a dimension-specific way. w/Wouter Kool ↓ 1/11
If you’re at #HCOMP2023, our graduate student Lauren Treiman will be presenting her recent paper, “Humans forgo reward to instill fairness into AI,” a collaboration with #CJHo and Wouter Kool tomorrow morning at 9am during Session 4! HCOMP 2024
Come and see our work at #CCN2024 from davideghez.bsky.social, thea zalabak, and Wouter Kool not once, but twice! Check out Davide’s talk on Thursday at 4pm, and come say hi to learn more at his poster on Friday at 11:15am! CogCompNeuro
