Nearly a month of CaskAlé abstinence (thanks to being in warmer climes) My return home has me clamming for it. Thank goodness for the The Town Mouse who comes up trumps! That first one disappeared swiftly 👍

Today is Ola’s last shift at the Mouse after 4 years and 2 months (making her our longest serving member of staff!) She’s been amazing! Come on down to wish her all the best with her new role & spending more time on the better side of the bar!

Public Service Announcement - Mouse temporarily closed while we figure out why the lights aren’t coming on. Just waiting for a sparky. Fingers crossed it’s a quick job or it’s pints by candlelight tonight! 🕯️🍺

The lights are still out till tomorrow but we’re going to give it a go & open - the candles are flickering & the beer is flowing (don’t worry lights in the hallway/toilet working as normal) - we might close a bit early if it gets too dark though!

Still issues with the lighting today so it’s pints by candlelight again. Due to this & the particularly gloomy weather out there we’re opening 1-9pm today. Hopefully back up & running properly tomorrow once we get a sparky in for a diagnosis 🤞🏼
