This pond belongs to some of our very first clients, that have now become like family. Over the last 5 years, we have watched their kids grow up. They never want us to leave. So we stopped for a bit to feed the “pet” sunfish and catfish! (Pond is dyed for aesthetics.)

So, all my scientist friends, do you pronounce data “day-tuh” or “da-tuh”?!? I just did a little video and realize that my default is to say “da-tuh” and I don’t know if this is even correct!!!

The worst part is that I see this in most of the neighborhoods we work in. There always seems to be someone that wants to feed the ducks and geese…🤦‍♀️

From back when I worked with the ⁦Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation⁩ and had the chance to help collect brookstock for the alligator gar spawning program at the Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery! #GarWeek

Because the last day of #GarWeek is for other non-game native fishes, I need to know…have you hugged a Buffalo lately?!? Such an amazing and beautiful fish, worthy of our love and respect. I mean c’mon, look at those soulful little eyes and silvery iridescent scales…*swoon*
