*feels the water around him go cold, empty, and shivers from his bulbous head and down each of his tentacles*

*does lazy laps, tentacles gently splashing in the water, near the edge of the lake*

I suppose that is a no of the daffodils. *swims off a bit, sulking* People visit now, sure, but do I ever get gifts? Of course not.

Whatever happened to that nice chap Tom? He used to bring me daffodils to eat. *waves a tentacle out of the water to some passing birds*

Granted...Tom kept killing animals by the lake and throwing their bodies in here too. But alas, the daffodils were very lovely. And tasty.

*swims around* Well, classes are almost out. Soon it'll be so very lonely here. Not that I get many visitors now. Wish I had some daffodils.

@MyChemMeghan Is it that shocking? I really do enjoy some good daffodils and it is rather lonely here right now. Summer holiday and all.

Sure is lonely in the summer holiday. No one visits and no one brings me daffodils. I think my tentacles are getting a bit pruned as well.

Oh, it is sad. Sara Wells I once ate a distant cousin I think. Calamari. Bloody student tossed some in, I thought it was bread.

The water is unseasonably cool today. It feels rather nice to rest my tentacles on the shoreline and soak up the sun.
