For those having crashes, going to Preferences -> Media Library -> History & un-checking the "Limit tracking to items played in the last x" option might help to minimise the chance of crashing with this build (as has also been affecting the last few builds which is annoying me).

Another workaround is to add threads=1 in the [winamp] section of your winamp.ini The location of that can be found by going to Preferences -> Advanced -> Diagnostics -> Settings Locations tab. This change makes the saving of any db changes slower which may cause other issues.

#WACUP build 1.99.15.19320 went up last night as a quick fix for an ironic crash from a change meant to avoid crashes (sorry to all for that) & a memory leak.

Finally getting around to implementing a tiled / details mode for the album art filter panel results which should resolve some on-going complaints. Visually it's a bit different from winamp's ml_local but this should be decent enough even if WINE doesn't implement the tiled mode.

The secret contents of encrypted files, worm.exe, email passwords, a secret biography, cryptic audio snippets, a Thai dad's private gift for is 2.5yo son. These are all things I found when I started investigating corrupt Winamp skins I finally wrote up the story (link below)

Finally after having had years of complaints it was only showing "Playing WACUP" when there wasn't anything I could do about it there's now "Listening to" support! A new #WACUP preview build should appear soonish with this change once beta testing build 19762 has been completed.

it's happened & the license terms shown to me are as expected noticeably restrictive & not properly open source as many were expecting despite their choice of words in the announcement 4 months back. as such I'm not going to touch anything to do with it with a big ol' barge pole.
