2025 Yusuf Dakane out of Pomfret Hoops & Basketball Club Rhode Island is a 2025 guard to know in the NEPSAC. The Lewiston Maine native is lightning quick with the ball, very composed and makes smart plays, and uses his body to clean the glass.

First game set of the day done here at #SRC Came away very impressed with on-ball defensive skills of Pomfret’s Yusuf Dakane. Dakane gets low moves quick laterally and keeps the ball in front of him. Good hand timing on steals and is not afraid to take contact.

Guess who? We could all learn something from Yusuf. Just a phenomenal human. He’s positive, supports those around him, and gives his best. Thankfully, he loves staying spaced and shot ready too!

Pomfret vs. Westminster Standout: Yusuf Dakane One of the fastest guards end to end in the gym today. Dakane might be the best sub-6’ rebounder I’ve seen this spring. He’s competitive, tough, and can play either backcourt spot.

Great performance this morning from unsigned 2025 Kevin Clarke in Pomfret’s win. Clarke had 18 points on a very efficient 8/11 from the field. He was able to use his smooth slashing skills to get the shots he wanted around the rim, and went 2/2 from outside. New England Recruiting Report NERRHoops

St. Joe’s (ME) does it again and grabs an under recruited steal who grew up right in their backyard. After an NCAA Tournament berth this season, they now add Yusuf Dakane to pair with Silvano Ismail in the back court. Two-way guards who play with high energy on both ends.
